Hardwood Chip

Hardwood chip is a premium wood chip product with an earthy brown to red colour that is generally used as an all-round ground cover.

Friendly with native australian plants. Ideal as a ground cover in windswept areas or as coarse garden mulch for sandy areas and verges with heavy foot traffic.

Provides plants with nutrients as it breaks down, optimising plant growth. It allows water to penetrate evenly, allowing moisture to reach all sections of your garden soil, reduces evaporation of water from the soil, helps retain soil moisture – especially during hot, dry summers and protects your garden soil from erosion.
