CRACKED PEA GRAVEL

Cracked Pea Gravel can be used as a path or driveway. It will remain loose on the surface due to the lack of fines/dust to enable compaction. But the “cracked” edges gives it the ability to lock in to each other and is less slippery than the whole gravel.

It also works well in native gardens and landscapes as an alternative to wood-based mulch as it doesn’t degrade over time. It provides the soil with some level of sun protection and allows for excellent drainage.
Usually a depth of 50mm-100mm is recommended.

We suggest installing Geofabric underneath to stop the aggregate from mixing in with the existing sand, and to help control weeds.
